the top floor is made up for our guests. We are still finalizing the finishing touches like the black out curtains and a wardrobe in one room but they will be present when you are here. The middle floor is where we sleep so we ask you to respect our privacy and not enter the rooms. You can use the rest of the house, the garden, the barbecue, play with the toys including the playstation, the kids steps, use the utility room which is where we keep the laundry and our treadmill. We have a cat!! And we normally will ask if you can feed the cat but we can also arrange for someone to come and take care of him. He is very sociable! You can use our bikes (3 adult ones, 1 semi adult; 2 kids) but we do ask for a small fee to give the kids a sense of entrepreneurship. The house is a living home so you wont find a hotel but it will be full of our things from playstation games; to blankets; toys; crayons; cleaning material, foods and beers. You are welcome to it all
We are a portuguese speaking family living in the lovely city of Haarlem, Netherlands. We have three boys and we love to travel, cook, cycle and taking the boys to experience new cultures, foods and people. We always use your house with our utmost respect and try and leave it as it was and we ask the same. We live in our home so you will find it full of personal touches! Hope you enjoy them!
We live in a quiet but very family friendly neighborhood with a park 100m from our house, two big lawns in front of our house, a shopping street, a huge market 300m; a bus station 300m; and 20min walking to the train station and haarlem center. We are close to two lakes (15min by bike); dunes and national parks; the beach (10min by car; 30min by bike if you go slowly).
